Just wanted to give a quick bit of feedback about the training program Ryan is taking the juniors through. The content in module 1 (managing your workflow) was, quite frankly, invaluable. It was so clear, relevant and applicable to what we do on a daily basis that I want to find the guy who put those slides together and buy him a generous gift.. Can’t believe how much buy-in there was tbh. I could actually see concepts being understood and knowledge being absorbed. I don’t know what we’re paying for this training resource but far out it’s worth every cent.

I found the Graduate Accountant Induction Course to be highly valuable in building a strong foundation for my career in public practice. The course content was comprehensive, covering essential topics that have directly impacted my day-to-day work, especially in time management and project control. Easy to navigate online content, great timing of assessment marking, creation of the SMART action plan and 90 day plan was a good tool to build momentum outside of the course and to focus on various aspects of business advisory that could be overlooked. Excellent break-up into the various bite-sized modules. Overall, a very helpful short course for introductory to business advisory services.

The Business Analyst e-course is a great help for accountants like me. All modules are broad and well-explained. The Business Analyst course has been amazing, it allowed me to think beyond the numbers. As we may be aware, the accounting industry is changing with artificial intelligence, so as accountants we need to compete and be able to think beyond numbers to assist the clients. This course has really helped me think analytically rather than just doing numbers but how to interpret them for the clients. This course not only taught the benefits but also any roadblocks and challenges that we may face when trying to implement advisory services to the clients. In conclusion, the course was really great. And five stars for the course.

This course was both interesting and practical. As I was completing the assessment, I was surprised at how I could easily incorporate the learnings into my practice without a massive investment of time / money – as it sometimes the small changes that can still have incredible impact for my clients. There is no need to try to do everything at once. This course encourages you to think about scaling any roll out so you dont need to feel overwhelmed about the task ahead. Well done

I found the Path to Partnership course very beneficial. The Business Developer and Trusted Advisor modules introduced various techniques that I will be to utilise and implement in my future dealings with clients.

The course was good and had a lot of useful content that has assisted me with my day to day job. The suggestions in relation to client communication, management and workflow management were particularly useful, especially based on my level. I also think that the SMART action points got me to think outside the box.

Really learned a lot from this course. The course filled in a big void for me in terms of knowing what I wanted to achieve but didn’t know where to access the resources to get to the final destination.

I went into the course thinking that I wouldn’t take much from the course. The earlier sessions on workflow management would be helpful for those that have poor time planning skills, however the later sessions on staff and client management did open my eyes to lots of possibilities and suggestions that I hope that I will be able to put to good use

Thoroughly enjoyed the course and taking away a lot of useful practical knowledge to be able to implement. The course has confirmed we as a practice are doing well but can improve. I very much enjoyed and have benefited from this course.  It provided me with both a summary and the technical side of how to correctly manage my corporate secretarial clients. The presenter clearly spoke and explained the items in a manner in which was easily understood and therefore the knowledge retained by myself. I have added in many of the checklists and updated my firm’s processes to ensure compliance of record keeping and to ensure all corporate secretarial matters are understood and the appropriate documents held or prepared. The references and resources provided was extensive and very useful for guiding me to the correct area when I have to deal with ‘out of the box’ scenarios.

I have been doing ASIC work as part of the administration team for an accountancy firm for the last 7 years. I wish this course was around when I first started. I have found this course to be great in relation to confirming procedures that we currently have in place & some that can improve or introduce in the future. I really liked the checklist templates in the various modules, that will help for things like onboarding/exiting client/ de-registrations etc. I would highly recommend this course to our office for any employees who would like a better understanding of how ASIC works or for new employees who would be taking on the ASIC role. I look forward to seeing how the New ABRS site works especially in relation to duplication of workload. Thanks for the great work in putting this course together.

I thank you for the opportunity and knowledge this course has given me. I had been trying to research about ASIC and certain subject especially the directors ID but there was never enough information that was clear until this course. I found this course to be very interesting and I have learnt a lot within the course.

I have learned a lot from this course- delivery is well paced, content is thorough and necessarily a little dry but Viola does her best to walk the fine line between professional delivery and showing some personality and sharing experiences and personal knowledge. That’s where the gold lies. I prefer a more rigorous assessment process- end of Module questions are mostly very simple-but that is not a criticism, more a personal preference in learning. The additional resources are excellent and the LMS is simple and functional. Including a Professional Development matrix to add to after each Module is also very useful and i can take a lot of new knowledge back to my business in a form that’s ready to integrate into systems and workflows. My corporate clients will really benefit from me doing this course. I often find a lot of CPD excessively expensive and light on content, but i think that there is real value in this course and well worth the investment. I would recommend it to anyone with corporate clients- both as a refresher for the more experienced and as essential knowledge for newer Agents.

I have just completed the Responsible Registered Agent Course and can honestly say I am so happy I enrolled despite having several of experience as a Corporate Secretary. This course truly is of benefit whether you are new to ASIC compliance or have experience. I particularly like the SMART actions concept where you can record actions you wish to implement on a personal, team or firm level according to ideas, concepts and knowledge learned in the course. Even with my experience in ASIC compliance there are actions I have documented for implementation in my workplace.  I also learned a few tips in relation to the CAS360 software which our firm has only been using for a short time, that are really beneficial.

This course has been a great investment. In time I hope to implement everything I learned, but, to be honest, implementing just some learned points is a big strive forward for my business. This course will help my clients, which in turn, will help my business. Helping my clients improve their businesses is good business for me. This course has been the best professional development I have done to help my clients in this way.

This business analyst course has been useful in providing some excellent processes to follow. It has also challenged my current way of thinking and given me new ideas of templates, measuring tools and review processes to create a clearer picture for my clients at both the introductory and various review stages. Lastly it has given me a good understanding of how to establish a scope of works and to transparently discuss the cost of it. There is huge benefits we can offer to our clients through business analysis and it is important to be able to explain the long term benefits it will give the organisation to justify the short term cost especially when as per the “J” curve things may go backwards initially whilst employees learn develop and change before the true benefits are seen. I’d like to thank Dale for the course. It was good value for money and there was an excellent response time which was motivating too.

The course offers a wide range of information relating to the challenges of delaing with advisory engagements and provides you with a number of questions to consider when determining how to improve the services you offer to your clients

I both enjoyed the course and found it very useful in structuring my approach to my one remaining client. It was nice to understand that much of what I have contemplated over the years is not uncommon to many in the Profession. This course emphasised the need to document and formalise the process as well as access as much of the new technology available as possible. Much of the necessary activity by both the Profession and Client would not have been cost effective until recently.

The course is excellent. It provides general understanding on the transformation from accountant to business advisor. The transformation is quite a challenge but the course give practical suggestions. Also the course contains various tools and external resources to help the transformation.

The course provides a very good opportunity to review advisory projects. With a range of financial and non financial tools, it develops the mind set of a business analyst. I personally found it very interesting and useful!

I would highly recommend the business analyst course to any firm. The presentations assist in understanding the issues involved and the assessment questions force you to focus on important work areas you don’t often allocate time for. Having to draft plans and checklists and note what the delivery to clients would involve ensures the participant and their firm are well placed to introduce new services and advice but on a step by step basis. The assessment marking is quick and the feedback is very helpful. The resource guides and workbooks can also be printed and used for future reference.

I found the course clearly set out and thoroughly enjoyed working through the practical tips. I loved how the questions were to be answered directly relating to my business and not just some theory answer. Would strongly recommend the course
